The road to the Dunkman World Championship begins on July 21 with Group Stage A, headlined by No. 1 seed Dengxin Chen, widely regarded as one of the top dunkers in the world and the undisputed king of dunking in China. Now, Chen has his sights set on proving himself against the world’s best. Standing in his way are former College Slam Dunk Champion Doug Anderson, UK No. 1 Joel Henry, rising star Cam Hazzard, creative standout Jonathan Edwards, and Olympic high jump medalist Shelby McEwen. With the Group Stage winner earning an automatic berth into the Dunkman World Championship, every dunk carries enormous weight as six elite athletes battle for the first championship spot.
